The Doodle Patch Kids app
We’re creating a playful learning and creativity app for ages 2–8. Draw, discover, and play with Patchy through open-ended activities and optional guided adventures. We’re imagining one family journey from newborn through age 8: parent-operated Quiet Time audio for the earliest years, with interactive creativity designed for ages 2–8.
Our app is still in planning. It is not available to install yet, and we haven’t set a release date.

So many ways to wonder
These are planned features.
Details may change as we create and test.
Planned activity
Doodle, color, and experiment with stamps. Follow an optional Draw with Patchy activity—or see where your own ideas take you.
Planned activity
Explore age-appropriate math, science, and discovery, with activities intended to match different learning levels.
Planned activity
Relaxed games with room to explore at your own pace. Optional educational modes would add a little learning to the fun.
Planned activity
Dress up Patchy, decorate a little room, and put your own artwork in a special frame. A space to make your own.
Planned activity
Enjoy Doodle Patch Kids episodes. Offline episode downloads are planned for a later update, separate from the core offline activities.
Planned parent controls
Separate local profiles, adjustable playtime limits, sound controls, and manual backups—all part of the plan.
Grown-ups, this part’s for you
We’re planning for mobile and desktop, starting with an installable web app for Apple and Android mobile devices. Exact devices, browsers, and installation steps will be listed after testing.
Compatibility and offline behavior have not been verified yet.
We’re planning Quiet Time audio and lullabies that a grown-up would choose and control, including for families with newborns and babies under age 2. Optional subtle stars or a resting Patchy are visual concepts for the parent-operated experience; the audio would not require a child to watch the screen. Quiet Time is still a concept, and playback with the screen off or locked has not been verified on devices.
The plan is separate profiles saved on the device, rather than online child accounts. Parents would choose content and themes for each profile.
Core activities are intended to work offline after the initial setup. Setup, updates, and new packs would need a connection. Offline video is planned for later.
Artwork and profile settings are intended to stay on the device. Local storage is not a cloud backup: clearing app or browser data, removing the app, or losing a device could mean losing work. Parent-managed manual backups are planned.
Optional extras, extra imagination
Themes and activity collections we’re imagining. No packs are available to download yet.
Friendly pumpkins, playful costumes, and a sprinkle of make-believe.
Concept only · Not available to download
Twinkly colors, cozy creations, and little moments of festive wonder.
Concept only · Not available to download
In the planned parent-only Pack Library, a pack would download once for the device. Parents would enable its content for each child, with themes chosen separately for each profile.
A simple path, when it’s ready
At release, a QR code on our website can help a parent open the installation page on a phone or tablet. It will lead to the appropriate instructions or verified download—not install anything automatically.
Installation links and a download QR code will appear only when a verified release is ready.
A few things you might wonder
Not yet. The Doodle Patch Kids app is in planning, with no release date. We’ll add approved screenshots, release details, and installation instructions here when they’re ready.
Mobile and desktop are part of our direction. We’re starting mobile-first with an installable web app for Apple and Android devices. Desktop installation and the exact supported devices and browsers still need to be confirmed and tested.
Core activities are intended to work offline after setup, but this hasn’t been verified. Initial setup, updates, and downloading new packs would need internet access. Offline episode downloads are planned for a later update.
Separate local profiles are planned. Artwork, settings, and theme choices would be kept on the device. Profiles would not automatically sync to another device; manual backup and restore are planned for parents.
No packs are available yet. Our plan is to share each download across profiles on one device, while letting parents enable content per child and select themes per profile. Pack contents, age guidance, compatibility, sizes, versions, and update notes will be listed before release.
Interactive drawing, discovery, and play are being designed for ages 2–8. Parents would choose activities by their child’s age and ability. For families with younger children, including babies under age 2, we’re planning separate Quiet Time audio that a parent would operate. Final activity and pack guidance will be provided before release.
We’re exploring future screen sharing from a phone or tablet to a TV. Mirroring would depend on compatible devices and TV hardware, and we have not verified it. A dedicated Fire TV app is also a possibility for separate future development; it is not part of the current mobile web app plan or available to install. These ideas have no release date.
Quiet Time is a planned parent-controlled audio experience, separate from the interactive activities for ages 2–8. A grown-up would choose and operate it, with no need for a younger child to watch or interact with a screen. It is not available yet. We still need to test audio playback with the screen off or locked, so we can’t promise that behavior on any device.
